Mother’s Day Tribute – Barbara Gattermeir

We asked resident families to tell us their favorite memories of their mothers, and we were not disappointed by their responses.

Amy Mattox sent us the following regarding her mom, Barbara Gattermeir.

The stories are too many to share but she is a fabulous mother. She made us laugh when we were down, dried our tears when we were sad, made fabulous cakes, yummy treats and took amazing care of my sister and me. Her memory and thoughts aren’t what they used to be but she has the same laugh and sparkle in her eye as she did when we were little.
