Understanding Memory Loss

It’s commonly believed that memory loss and cognitive changes are a normal part of aging, but that’s not always the case. Many things can cause memory problems including medications, medical problems, or even poor diet.

Join us for a luncheon presentation from Stanley Fisher, MD, medical director of Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Fisher will discuss strategies for avoiding cognitive decline and dealing with age-related memory loss.

Enjoy a delicious chef-prepared lunch by PB&J Restaurants, our culinary services provider. Presentation and tours will follow.

Seating is limited, so RSVP for yourself and a guest today. Complimentary valet parking is available.

About Stanley Fisher, MD:
Dr. Fisher is medical director of Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute and is the Edward T. Matheny, Jr., Missouri Endowed Chair in Neurosciences at UMKC School of Medicine. He previously served as the medical director for four Silverado Memory Care communities in Houston, Texas, and co-director of the Movement Disorders and Neurorehabilitation Center at Houston Methodist Neurological Institute.
