Scientist Gary Wesche on Antarctica
From November 23, 2009, through January 10, 2010, scientist Gary Wesche worked and lived at a remote camp on the West Antarctic Ice Sheet. He came to BSP to share stories on how he and his research partner conducted aerial surveys that measured ice thickness, mapped ice layers, and utilized SAR-imaging to produce high-resolution maps of the ice surface.
