Saint Luke’s Hospital on Heart Failure
We’re fortunate to have world-class cardiovascular care just down the street at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute. Evelyn Dean, RN, runs the Heart Failure Management Program, which is committed to the highest level of excellence in providing seamless and comprehensive care to patients across the heart failure disease spectrum. Evelyn manages all aspects of the program and guides patients through their care protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal health outcomes. She came to BSP to share about the program and how beneficial it can be for people in various stages of heart failure. She also shared about Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City’s Heart Failure Support Group – a free community group that meets quarterly for heart failure patients, their family and their friends.
