Operation Breakthrough Presentation
Residents learned about the amazing Operation Breakthrough through an important presentation by CEO Mary Esselman. Operation Breakthrough is a not-for-profit organization that was started in 1971 as a response to requests from parents in the central city for quality child care for children of the working poor. Besides providing a safe and loving educational environment for the kids, the Center also empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education. Best part of the presentation? A group of kids from the Center treated us to a spirited vocal performance!
