Mother’s Day Parade
Thank you to all family and friends who came out to celebrate our moms this Mother's Day! What a beautiful procession of love and celebration of mothers in our community. Thank you to everyone who supported our social distancing measures by participating in the Mother's Day parade. Honking and homemade posters, tin cans rattling behind cars, convertibles with what looked like princesses waving for their queens, beautiful flowers, butterflies were seen from and on cars. Frank Sinatra and “Las Mañanitas” played by families as they circled by once…twice…thrice…four times! Dancing and laughter! The “I Love You Mom”s and “I’ll talk to you soon”s were shouted from a distance.
