KC Museum Exhibit Launch at BSP Honors Resident
We were delighted to serve as the launch venue for Kansas City Museum’s traveling exhibit “My Northeast: A Snapshot of Kansas City’s Historic Northeast”. And we are so proud that one of our residents – a retired librarian of the Kansas City Public Library and longtime supporter of the Museum – conceived of and inspired the exhibit out of his deep passion and pride for the Northeast Neighborhood. He has shared his memories and experiences of the Northeast to ensure that its rich and “magical” history will be preserved for generations to come, and he generously donated the pieces in the display. The exhibit’s debut presentation was followed by a reception honoring our resident, and now will travel to several locations around KC before settling permanently at the Museum.
