We enjoyed a topical presentation on social security politics and policies by Max Skidmore, UMKC Curators' Professor of Political Science and Thomas Jefferson Fellow. His specialization is ideologies, American political thought, the presidency, and social security policies. We learned so much about how American ideologies shape social security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
